Thy Kingdom Come

Churches Together in Wendover is joining the world wide initiative to pray for God’s Kingdom to come.  From Ascension day (Thursday 10th May) to Pentecost Sunday (20th May) we are inviting all Christians in and around Wendover to join us in prayer.  Through St Anne's, St Mary's and Wendover Free Church, we will be distributing prayer resources for this global movement.  They are also available on the 'Thy Kingdom Come' website (www.thykingdomcome.global).

From Friday morning 18th of May to Saturday morning 19th of May there will be a 24-hour prayer vigil.  This will start at St Anne’s Church at 9am where there will be interactive all age prayer stations to help you to pray, until 7.30am on Saturday.  There will always be someone available to pray with you, to help you or keep you company if you wish.  Come and go as you please all day and night.  On Friday (18th May) we will be gathering for prayer at 9am, midday, 7pm and midnight.  On Saturday (19th May) we will be gathering for sunrise prayers at 5am at St Anne's.  This will be followed by a walk to St Mary's at 7.30am where we will finish with breakfast at 8am and a final prayer gathering at 9am.  More information about the event can be found on our facebook page (www.facebook.com/ChurchesTogetherWendover) or the Wendover Free Church website (www.wendoverfreechurch.org.uk).

Pentecost Praise Service - 20th May

To celebrate Pentecost together there will be a Praise Service at St Anne's Church.  We will start with refreshments at 6pm in the Christian Centre.  The service will start at 6.30pm and everyone is very welcome to join us and celebrate the birthday of the church with us.  If you are musical or like singing and would like to take part in the service we would like to invite you to bring your instrument (or voice!) and come to practice at 5.30pm that day.
