BUCKS ART WEEKS is the new title for what used to be called “Bucks Open Studios”. The event is now in its 33rd year. It is the largest celebration of Art & Craft in Buckinghamshire.  It runs from 9 to 24 June and is FREE to visit. Over 400 artists and makers will be exhibiting their work in a variety of venues throughout the county. Many will be opening their studios for the public to come and look at the artists at work. Included in this group in Wendover are JEREMY WHITE and GODFREY THORPE, who will be opening their ceramic studio and gallery in Walnut Drive every day, Jeremy will also be exhibiting in the new Buckinghamshire Craft Guild Shop at Layby Farm in Stoke Mandeville. Also at Layby Farm, you’ll find ROS LONG at By Hand Books. SUSAN GRAY will be working 11am-4pm on selected days in her Studio in Robert Mews, just off Wendover High Street, and SJ AXELBY will be exhibiting in the a little bird gallery in the Barn Courtyard. In Weston Turville, SUSAN LANGFORD will be showing her land and seascapes. There is no charge to see any of these artists at work and you do not have to spend any money, but it is a great opportunity to see some wonderful work, which you may like to purchase, being created - or just be inspired to start being creative yourself. 16-24 June find nine artists & makers exhibiting at St Dunstan’s in Monks Risborough. A commission on all sales goes to church funds.

Full details of individual artists and opening times available on the web site www.bucksartweeks.org.uk and in the Free directories available from the Library and a little bird gallery.
