Celebrating CommUnities at Bucks County Museum

Saturday 15 June, 11am - 3pm

Come and join our local communities for a colourful day of celebration and sharing of stories, music and traditions that make each community special at Bucks County Museum on Saturday 15 June.

Hear the spectacular Indian drumming performance and have a go yourself; try out vision impairment simulation specs and braille; experience powerful drama performances; learn some new words in Polish; chant with the Buddhists and much more.

Explore the CommUnity Voices exhibition and discover the hidden stories of some of our local communities told through their own objects and words. The celebrations begin with a short tour led by the exhibition curator and visitors will get the chance to meet some of the community members who donated their stories and objects in the exhibition.

There is also a special Dementia Friends session where you can find out more about coping with relatives and friends with Dementia.

All activities are drop in except the Dementia Friends session which is bookable through the museum website.
