Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, HM Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire paid a visit to a training camp for air cadets at RAF Wittering last week to find out what goes on at the annual summer camps hosted every year.

Sir Henry was invited to meet with the 37 cadets on the week-long camp and take part in some of the activities including target shooting and exercises designed to build up leadership skills. Sir Henry also accompanied the cadets on a visit to the Control Tower.

Following lunch in the Officers' Mess Sir Henry spoke to the cadets about their camp experience. He said: "I found the day both interesting and enjoyable. After a short, nervous start, the cadets opened up and enthused about all the activities available to them."
