Advertising in Wendover News

Wendover News is a monthly A4 colour newsletter founded in September 1989 to serve Wendover and its surrounding villages. Our website, issuu publication, Facebook page and other social media channels are an extension of the print edition of the newsletter, making Wendover News content available to a wider audience. Wendover News transferred to community ownership in March 2024.

Wendover News is available at a number of locations in the town and is also delivered by volunteers to addresses in and around Wendover.

Transitional arrangements from March 2024

From 1 March new sales orders are with Wendover Community News CIC. 

All pre-existing sales orders with Wendover News Ltd will be fulfilled on the terms that they were agreed, subject to payment to Wendover News Ltd. Please pay invoices and correspond with us using the payment and contact instructions as shown on our invoice. Note the change of bank account details for new invoices.

We are reviewing our rates and services. In the meantime, we continue with our existing rates whilst limiting multi-month orders to three issues.

Our downloadable guide for advertisers will help you get started planning, designing and producing your promotions. We also run workshops when there is demand. Please register your interest by emailing advertising@wendovernews.org.

Services for advertisers

Print advertising

We charge based on the size of your advert and offer a discount for repeat placements. Our downloadable rate card shows the latest charges for print advertising. Our rates and pricing structure are subject to review.

Digital print edition

A digital version of the print edition, including clickable printed adverts, is published on the Wendover News issuu channel as an interactive flipbook and as article pages, optimised for discovery by Google and other search engines. If it is not obvious from the advert, then please provide us with an email address or web address for the clickable link.

Website business listing

Once you have purchased three or more print advertisements, you are entitled to a listing on the Wendover News business directory. If you want a stand-alone business listing then please contact us for a quote.

Social media and website promotions

Please contact us for a quote if you would like to advertise or promote a campaign via our social media channels and website. We plan to expand our online services for advertisers in the future. Watch this space!

Graphic design

If you need help with graphic design, our downloadable guide for advertisers lists some local graphic designers who can produce graphics that meet our specifications and will look great in print and online. If we receive a graphic that does not meet our specifications, or where we think we can make changes to increase its impact, then we will contact you to provide a quote.
