Mindfulness meditation also improves the cardiovascular and immune system. It improves concentration and balances the hormones cortisol and adrenaline, thus reducing stress and anxiety. High levels of cortisol and adrenaline gradually destroy the physical body.
Mindfulness meditation increases melatonin levels, promoting better sleep, improved self-awareness and positive thinking. Positive thinking can improve health, reduce stress, anxiety and negative self-talk.
It focusses on breathing techniques to re-oxygenate the body, reducing high blood pressure and promoting a feeling of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
