As book lovers, and as Wendover residents, we’re hugely passionate about the future of our community and we are working hard to create a social and welcoming space that offers something for everyone. 

We’ll be bringing you the best new fiction and non fiction, children’s and young adult literature, music and nature writing as well as much more. Personal recommendations and an excellent ordering service will be central to what we do, so if you need something, just let us know. 

Set over two floors and with lots of space to browse, relax and take your time, we’ll be running community events each week ranging from parent and baby groups, drop-in sessions for secondary school students and a book group and we’ll be adding more throughout the coming months. We’ll welcome authors regularly to Wendover and will share the news of our first event in October soon. 

The response throughout the local area since we announced our existence and opening has been absolutely brilliant - thank you - and we’d love to hear your ideas about what you’d like to see in the shop.
