The Chilterns as we know it today is a beautiful landscape of woods and picturesque villages. But, in the past, it was also a busy industrial environment where people made their livings in the woods and cottages.
After a bit of a quiet time just after the Christmas break the Club is back in full swing.
WJFC is hosting another fun filled Casino Night on Friday 3rd April at the Wendover Memorial Hall.
To mark the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, which is currently being celebrated around the world, Wendover Choral Society will be performing a concert of his music on Saturday 16th May 2020 at St Mary’s Church, Wendover at 7.30 pm.
With the imminent retirement of three of the four remaining Committee members at the end of March the Wendover Society will have to be dissolved unless volunteers step forward to fill the vacant posts before the AGM on 27 March.
