Red Kite Pavillion, Aston Clinton Park
Thursday 23rd September, 7pm to 9pm
Dave Sivers, crime fiction author, will take you on his journey from lifelong scribbler to minor bestseller, the seismic changes in the publishing industry in the past ten years and the challenges of setting gritty crime fiction in a pleasant rural area.
He calls his crime fiction novels ‘Chiltern Noir’: his popular series featuring detectives Lizzie Archer and Dan Baines, set in Aylesbury Vale, and In Ink, published in 2020, introduced DI Nathan Quarrel in the start of a new series set in West Hertfordshire. He is a co-founder of Ivinghoe’s BeaconLit book festival.
There will be opportunities for questions, book signings and to buy copies of Dave’s books.
