Half Term 80s inspired Craft Activities – 12 – 17 February 2024
From Monday 12 – Friday 16 February discover a different craft every day from Lunar New Year Dragon puppets to 80s inspired Grow a Troll and lots more! End the half term on a high with our FREE Gameshows of the 80s Family Day on Saturday 17 February.
Monday 12 February – Discover The Year Of The Dragon
Celebrate the Year of the Dragon this Lunar New Year by making your very own dragon puppet. £3.50 per participant. Suitable for ages 3+. 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm.
Tuesday 13 February: Moveable Mario
Create your very own 80s inspired Super Mario game. £3.50 per participant. Suitable for ages 5+. 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm.
Wednesday 14 February: The Marvellous Marble Race
Become a physicist in this exciting workshop: experiment with different materials and learn all about the science of friction in order to create the wildest marble run you can! £7 per participant. Suitable for ages 5+. 10.15am – 11.15am & 1pm – 2pm.
Thursday 15 February: Grow-A-Troll
Make your very own clay troll and then take it home to grow a wild crop of hair. £5.50 per participant. Suitable for ages 5+. 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm.
Friday 16 February: Bucks Heroes Craft
Create an A3 picture using stencils, collage, paint and sensory materials of your favourite food then add to our community mural. Suitable for ages 3+. £3.50 per participant. 10am – 3pm.
Saturday 17 February: FREE Gameshows of the 80s Family Day
To celebrate our ‘I Grew Up 80s’ Exhibition come and try your hand at some of the 80s most beloved game shows! Weave your own friendship bracelet, add to our graffiti wall, go on an 80s trail and lots more! Entry included in your standard admission charges. 10am – 3pm.
