Buckland, Drayton Beauchamp and Aston Clinton Women’s Institute

Buckland, Drayton Beachamp and Aston Clinton WI started in Buckland village in November 1930 with the villages of Drayton Beachamp and Aston Clinton following later.  We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at the Anthony Hall, London Road, Aston Clinton  HP22 5HG at 7.45 p.m.

We have a varied programme of speakers at our meetings but we also have other activities such as theatre and cinema trips and lunch get-togethers.  We also have a strolling group and a walking group.

Our WI is affiliated to the Bucks Federation of Women’s Institutes which offer a wide range of activities.  These are open to all members of local WI’s.  The National WI’s Denman College, which is located near Oxford, also has a wide range of courses that members are able to attend.
