Girlguiding in the Wendover area

Rainbows
Rainbows are 5 to 7 years old. There are two Rainbows units that meet weekly during term time – one in Wendover and one in Aston Clinton. Rainbows offers some girls their first opportunity to take part in non-school-related group and community-oriented activities. Please contact us via the Girlguiding website to register your interest.

Brownies
There are Brownie units in the district in the following locations: Wendover (2 units), Aston Clinton (2 units), Stoke Mandeville, Halton. Brownies are between 7 and 10 years old. Brownies gives some girls their first opportunity to undertake overnight activities without their families, and the activities are largely unit-focused. Brownies also take part in some community-oriented activities throughout the year.

Guides
There are Guide units in the district in the following locations: Wendover (2 units), Aston Clinton.  Guides range in age from 10 to 14 years and undertake fun and adventurous activities as well as public service activities. Some Guides also help in the younger units as part of their service commitment.

Rangers
The Rangers are a division of The Senior Section. There is one Rangers unit in the district, in Aston Clinton. Rangers are aged between 14 and 25 and have quite varied activities, from the fun and adventurous to more public-service oriented activities. Some Rangers also choose to help out with the younger units as part of their service commitment. In 2020, Rangers were divided into a group for girls 14-18 and a group for young women 18-25.
