£350 Raised for RAF Benevolent Fund

A Charity Raffle at The King’s Head pub in Aylesbury has raised £350 in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund. The King’s Head is the tap for The Chiltern Brewery in Terrick.

The winning tickets were picked by landlord George Jenkinson and prizes included a Hamper of goodies, Flowers and Gift Vouchers.

Pub manager Mike and the team were delighted with the success of the raffle and reward for all their hard work “encouraging” customers to buy tickets!

“People were very generous” says Mike “helping to raise funds for this great cause – it was lovely to see.”

A cheque was presented to Regional Fundraiser Charlotte Barmby on Monday 16th January at The King’s Head.

Founded in 1919 the RAF Benevolent Fund is an independent charity that supports the RAF family and maintains and preserves RAF memorials.

Dating from 1455 and owned by the National Trust The King’s Head prides itself on being a real ale pub of excellence and a unique setting.
