Third birthday for Iain Rennie shop

The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home shop at 5 High Street, Wendover is celebrating its third birthday on Monday 7 September and new shop manager, Sue Lincoln, is hoping that local people will pop into the shop during the day to help them celebrate. Sue said:

“I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the lovely people from Wendover since I joined in July. The local community has been so welcoming and I am really excited about building new relationships in the future so that we can continue to raise vital funds to support our nurses.

“I am very passionate about ensuring that local families are able to receive the right care and support when faced with cancer or another life-limiting illness and with the support of the local community, I know that we can help make this happen. I am looking for more volunteers to join our friendly team, serving in the shop and helping to sort donated items. So if you have a few spare hours on your hands each week, please do call into the shop and I can let you know what’s involved.

“We also always welcome donations of good quality items to sell in the shop. If you’ve not visited us before, do call in either on 7 September, or at a time convenient to you and have a look at some of the great things on offer. You might be surprised – and it would be lovely to meet you!”

The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home shop is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday. For further information, please go to www.renniegrove.org/shop
