The Wendover Calendar is now available to purchase from the Community Library for only £7.50 while stocks last. The Friends of Wendover Community Library are pleased to run an annual photography competition of local scenes and the standard seems to get better every year. The winners of the competition are published in a calendar. The overall winner of the competition is featured on the front cover as shown in the photo, second is shown on the back cover.
Congratulations to Martin Hommel, centre, holding the calendar who is the overall winner. His photo will be on display in the King and Queen, South Street, HP22 6EF until the end of November. Pete Donne, landlord, left, holds the framed photo. Phil Mitchell, right, chair of Wendover Community Library Trust is about to handover the prize – a voucher for a meal for two at the King & Queen.
