fusion-jv informed Wendover News that HS2 had scheduled exploratory roadworks on the A413 London Road near the entrance to Boswells, duration Monday 20 to Friday 24 August 2018, “We do appreciate there will be significant traffic delays that will result in the works and will do them as quickly as we can without compromising on either the safety of road users or of our workers.”
This is the first piece of HS2 related work which has affected a road near Wendover. Most of these photos were taken during the evening rush hour on Thursday 23 August.
Everything was cleared away on time as promised, see photo of freely moving traffic on Saturday 25 August.
