Ale fans set to raise their glasses for charity at Aylesbury Beer Festival
The popular event, to be held at the Bucks CC Sports and Social Club on Friday 28th – Saturday 29th October, will offer real ale fans the chance to try some new local beers, as well as award-winning ales and ciders from further afield, whilst raising vital funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity works in conjunction with the experts at CAMRA in selecting the ales and ciders on offer, and all are carefully vetted and quality controlled by real ale aficionados. The Friday event will also offer guests a barbecue courtesy of the Aylesbury Lions, whilst on the Saturday we are delighted to announce that Kings Farm Shop, Wendover will be joining us for the very first time, bringing with them a range of delicious gourmet sausages in both traditional and innovative flavours! There will also be live music, and of course plenty of real ales, ciders and perries, with the event running from noon until 11pm.
Organisers at the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity are grateful for the support of local businesses and organisations, with Precision Moulds and Tools Services Ltd and the Aylesbury Conservatives sponsoring beer barrels, and George David the Estate Agents paying for and distributing flyers to local households.
The Festival address is Bucks CC Sports and Social Club, Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville. Bucks, HP21 9DR, with the Friday event running from 6pm – 11pm and Saturday’s from 11am – 11pm.
