Annual Wendover Quiz

Once again our trusty Parish Council put on a Quiz to sustain us as the nights became darker in Autumn. Alan Myers, centre of top picture, spends months devising his idiosyncratic questions and year after year new teams join this popular event which takes place in Wendover Bowls Club. The regular timekeeper is Cllr Jennifer Ballantine and scorer is Cllr Stephen Worth.

This year’s competition was hard fought as always and everyone was pleased to see some new faces. This is the first time either of the photographed teams has appeared in the final. Well done U3A and Quizzly Bears.

If you would like your team to take part next year, remember that each team of three plays another team of three (substitutes are allowed) in front of a supportive audience.
