Ashridge Home Care wins at Prestigious Awards Ceremony

The team from Ashridge Home Care (AHC), based in Amersham, are celebrating success having beaten off stiff competition to win the Best in Chiltern and South Bucks Districts award at the glitzy Bucks Business First awards ceremony held at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre last night.

Businesses across Buckinghamshire’s four district councils were invited to submit their nominations earlier in the year outlining why they should be crowned the ‘best of the best’.

The achievement follows a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection that took place in June, which saw the live-in care provider being awarded an ‘outstanding caring’ rating.

Commenting on the win, AHC Founder, Trudi Scrivener, said: “On behalf of the Ashridge Home Care team, I’m thrilled to receive this award. It recognises the fantastic work that our carers do; without them we would not be able to provide the outstanding caring service we do.”

Trudi added: “As we reach our three-year anniversary, we’re a young company going from strength to strength. This award recognises that we are providing an outstanding service to our clients, that we value and look after our care staff and that we are helping people to stay and be cared for in their own home. My focus now is to continue to raise awareness that there is an alternative to going into a care home, residential care is not for everyone and we are here to make sure that we can support as many people as possible who want to remain in their own homes.”
