Aylesbury hits the right beat when looking for buskers

Busker in Aylesbury’s Market Square

Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership is seeking talented performers of all varieties to busk in Aylesbury once again and help make the town a more vibrant and entertaining place to visit – especially as people are returning to the town after lockdown.

It’s not just solo performers that the partnership is encouraging to come forward; they are also keen to hear from local groups that would be interested in performing and showcasing their talent.

Steve Bowles, Buckinghamshire Council’s Cabinet Member for Town Centre Regeneration, said:

“Are you part of a dance group or choir? Or are you a musician or juggler? If yes, you might not have even thought about it yet, but street performance is a great way to showcase all the amazing things that you can do and have fun at the same time!”

If you would like to show what you can do on the streets of Aylesbury, please email diane.harrison@buckinghamshire.gov.uk or call 07738 314010 for further details.

Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership is always looking for ways to make Aylesbury an exciting and engaging experience for visitors – with specialist markets, events and live entertainment. For more information about what’s on in the town, please go to www.visitaylesbury.co.uk
