Aylesbury MP urges local people to “Eat Out to Help Out”

As the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme launches today, Aylesbury MP, Rob Butler, is calling on local people to support restaurants, pubs and cafes across the constituency by dining out.
The economy-boosting scheme, which was announced by the Chancellor in the recent summer budget statement, gives diners a 50% discount on the price of food and non-alcoholic drinks (up to £10 off per person) Monday to Wednesday during August at eligible premises.
Rob said:
“We have some fantastic restaurants and cafes in Aylesbury and the surrounding villages that have signed up to the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme, from well-known chains to much-loved independents.
“I’m sure many people have missed eating out. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a discount on a lovely meal and support our local economy at the same time.
“If you’re worried about your weight being a risk factor for coronavirus, you can always choose a healthier option from the menu.
“So, if you’re able to, treat yourself to a meal out and remember to follow all the necessary safety measures whilst doing so.”
