Barratt and David Wilson Homes gives the gift of Christmas to local schools

A leading house builder has spread some Christmas cheer this season by donating a Christmas tree to local schools in the Buckinghamshire area.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes made sure pupils and teachers at Broughton Junior School and Broughton Community Infant School had their very own Christmas tree, as well as decorations, to get them in the festive mood before they break up for the Christmas holidays.

Mrs Morrisey, Head Teacher of Broughton Community Infant School, said, “It was lovely of Barratt and David Wilson Homes to donate such a wonderful gift at this time of year, especially considering the recent fire that broke out at the school in November.

“The school definitely needed something to lift our spirits and the donation certainly did that! It was great that they could provide the junior school with a tree as well.”

Broughton Junior School and Broughton Community Infant School are nearby to Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ Kingsbrook development on Burcott Lane.

Glenn Copper, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Thames, said, “We’re really pleased we could donate a Christmas tree to Broughton Junior School and Broughton Community Infant School. When we heard the news about the fire at the Infant school we really just wanted to help in any way we could.

“Aylesbury is a fantastic place to live which is why we were so to build new homes in the area. Kingsbrook has helped grow the community in Aylesbury and we continue to look forward to welcoming new residents at the development.”

Kingsbrook is currently offering a range of properties featuring two to five bedrooms and ranging in prices from £360,000 and £575,000.
