College Lake has Nature Tots sessions on 7 and 9 June – with bookable slots at 10.15 and 10.30am. On 13 June there is a Wildlife Garden open day with slots from 10.30am and family fun after the garden visits. The annual orchid count at Aston Clinton Ragpits is on Sat 18 June at 10am and on Sun 19 June at Dancersend there is a guided walk with the Warden at 10.00am to show how plans for spending the Rothschild grant are developing.

All walks are bookable at www.bbowt.org.uk/events for a donation of £5 per person while Nature Tots are £7 per session for an adult with a child. The slots fill up quickly so please don’t delay. College Lake is open every day in June except Mondays. The other local reserves are open all the time but please park carefully. Access details are at bbowt.org.uk/reserves.
