NEW FEATURES:

We are delighted to announce a new series of free talks this year for all visitors to the show wanting to learn about the art & craft of boating either under sail, steam or self-steam – and anything in between. Designed to be lighthearted and informative, the programme of talks is still being finalised but we are pleased to provide some early news about those who are attending to present their ideas…

Speaker: Alec Jordan
Alec will be telling the audience the story of local boat building and rowing, and its incredible effects in its communities.

Speaker: Tim O’Connor
Tim is going to make the case for sail. A mode of propulsion used for centuries sail that continues to entertain, inspire, attract and engage. From racing to cruising, oceans to gravel pits Tim will show you how sailing is for you.

New boat auction this year!

DATE: VIEWING DAY FRIDAY 2ND JUNE 2017
AUCTION FROM 13.30 PM TO 4.30PMSATURDAY, 3RD JUNE 2017

Wooden and GRP sail and motor boats up to 26ft (8m) in length will be up for auction at the boat show this year.

Creature Ark – great for kids. Lots of cute and cuddly (and not so cute and cuddly!) creatures to hold and learn about.

IN OTHER NEWS:

We have introduced a price bustingweekend ticket (for Saturday & Sunday) which has proved very popular, and all children up to the age of 17 years can gain free entry… inspiring the next generation of boaters.

We hope you can join us at this spectacular event to see & try some of the very best boats in the land.

You canalso enjoy lots of exciting & quirky non-boating activities created for people of all ages.

Quite simply, a great day out and there is live music every day!
