Buckinghamshire libraries in focus in the daily council video update

Buckinghamshire Council Leader Martin Tett

The work Buckinghamshire libraries are doing during the coronavirus emergency is highlighted in today’s daily video update (Vlog) from Buckinghamshire Council Leader Martin Tett.

Joining Martin is David Jones, who is Head of Libraries & Culture at Buckinghamshire Council. David talks about how the library service is running while the buildings are closed, what’s on offer, how to join online, what library staff are currently doing, and the importance of reading for mental health and as a family activity.

The daily Vlog, supporting the message #ProudofBucks, also provides an opportunity for people to ask questions via social media on how the council is fighting Coronavirus locally, what residents can do to stay safe, and how they can get involved in helping others – using the #askBucksCouncil Twitter hashtag.

Vlogs will also be shared daily on the council’s social media channels.
