A new survey among Buckinghamshire residents has revealed that the space in their home property seekers would decorate first after moving in is the living room.

After a year of quality time spent with immediate family in the same home, there is greater emphasis on making shared spaces the ideal setting to relax and unwind in now that spring is just around the corner.

With the warmer months ahead, it is the ideal time to look forward to new beginnings and move to a blank canvas home with the chance to decorate however buyers would like.

A survey conducted by five star developer Barratt and David Wilson Homes* has revealed that 50% of people in the county would prioritise the living room over any other space in the home to personalise first after moving in.
