Celebrating volunteers’ support in Council’s daily vlog

Food parcels, help for vulnerable people, and the continuing need for volunteers to help through the coronavirus emergency are highlighted in today’s (Monday) daily video update from Buckinghamshire Council.

Joining Shadow Executive Leader Martin Tett is Sarah Ashmead, Deputy Chief Executive, who speaks about  what the Council is doing within the community to ensure help and support reaches older and more vulnerable people, and how around 800 volunteers are helping to make that happen.

The daily vlog, supporting the message “In it together”, also provides an opportunity for people to ask questions via social media on how the council is fighting Coronavirus locally, what residents can do to stay safe, and how they can get involved in helping others – using the #askBucksCouncil Twitter hashtag.

Vlogs will also be shared daily on the council’s social media channels.
