Cheryl visits County Council patching crew
Cheryl Gillan MP went to see the Buckinghamshire County Council patching crew repairing potholes in Wey Lane, Chesham Friday 19 June. Accompanying Cheryl was County Councillor Mark Shaw, Cabinet member responsible for transport issues.
The crew are part of the Transport for Buckinghamshire team working out of the Amersham depot, and are responsible for carrying out highway repairs. Potholes for repair are found as part of routine inspection, or from reports from the general public.
“The team were doing a great job carrying out the repairs and I know how grateful constituents are that they are tackling what is a never-ending task”, said Cheryl.
Mark added, “Having seen the team at work in the area, I am extremely grateful for the continued effort displayed in helping maintain our roads.”
