Chiltern Rangers announces the launch of their new Pro Bono scheme
In keeping with our status as a community interest company, we are implementing a pro bono scheme, to which, from 2016 onwards we will allocate 10% of any surplus we make each year. For the first year, running from September 2015 to September 2016, we will invest £6000 worth of pro-bono time and services into the local community and/ or the environment.
As well as offering discounted fees for our services to charities, local voluntary groups and social enterprises, we will make available the use of our tools and equipment to eligible groups, either at discounted hire rates or free of charge.
Services which we will offer on a pro bono basis include:
- practical conservation work
- environmentally friendly landscape work
- Be a Ranger half day experiences
- talks and presentations
- guided walks
