We meet on the third Thursday of each month at St Anne’s Hall in Wendover and the meetings start at 8pm and usually end by around 9.30. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available on arrival. The cost to visitors is £5, or annual membership is £25.

The meetings normally follow one of the following formats:

  • A guest speaker talking about a particular aspect of writing
  • A writing workshop, led by a guest facilitator or an experienced CW member
  • A manuscript evening, where members read a piece of their work and the rest of the group offers advice or constructive criticism

A talk from local writer Paul Eccentric. His talk ‘A Little Bit Eccentric’ will cover all his books, the commissions, and the whys and wherefores. Visitors welcome, £5.
