Christmas Decorations from WCEJS

Wendover Parish Council invited pupils from Wendover Church of England Junior School to make decorations for the big tree which takes pride of place on the Manor Waste every year. WCEJS rose to the occasion and the tree looks lovely with decorations for the first time as well as lights. All the makers were on tenterhooks as the winner of the competition was announced at the Christmas Lights event on Wednesday 5 December. The winning decoration was made from painted pasta and was extremely intricate, no photograph can do it justice. Congratulations to Lily Lapham who clearly put in a lot of artistic as well as manual endeavour. she received a voucher as a reward from Tom Walsh, chair of Wendover Parish Council.
