Christmas in Wendover 2017

CribFest Friday 1st – Saturday 2nd December

Last year, Wendover Free Church organised a very successful Crib Festival. Many local organisations joined in the fun by creating new cribs for the occasion. These included a tiny crib using a pistachio nut shell as the stable and the largest were those used regularly by our local churches during the Christmas Season. Many visitors enjoyed exploring the varied work on display. The2016 winner was Lindengate and their trophy was awarded during the Christmas Lights Switch On. Their crib was inspired by poppyseed heads found on site during a regular session for gardeners.

You are invited to view the scenes and vote for your favourites. The winners will receive a small prize. There will be free refreshments and a stall, in aid of the charity Embrace, selling home-made cakes, produce and Christmas decorations. For more details clickherefor website, herefor an entry form or telephone 01296 622354.All very welcome.
