Community Bench, Wendover
The dog walkers did it!
The Wendover dog walking community have rallied together and raised in excess of £1400 to place a bench in Walnut Tree Meadow where our friend Gaz, who sadly passed away in April after a short illness, would walk his dog, Roo. The party on Saturday afternoon (19/09/2015) was a real success with about 60 people and 30 dogs.
Thanks to Andy and Jason of Town & Country Landscaping who very kindly donated their time and skills to the project by laying the concrete slab.
The bench was ‘Officially Opened’ by Gaz’s Mum who cut the ribbon.
