Composting focus in the daily council video update
How to tackle the mountain of grass cuttings and plant trimmings in your garden during the coronavirus emergency is highlighted in today’s (Tuesday) daily video update (Vlog) from Buckinghamshire Council Leader Martin Tett.
Joining Martin is Andrew Jenkins, the council’s Waste Promotion Lead Officer, who talks about composting green waste to avoid putting it in the rubbish bins, tips about how to do it and, how to get a compost bin at a discount.
“Composting at home is easier than you think,” says Andrew. “And with discounts for local residents on compost bins, it’s a great time to start. So visit www.recycle4bucks.co.uk to order your bin and get started.”
