Crematorium in Little Kimble?

Dignity Funeral Homes have put in an application to build a crematorium and garden of remembrance on the site of Doe Hill Farm along the A4010 in Little Kimble. The crematorium would serve approximately 200,000 local residents and ease congestion at Chilterns Crematorium whilst holding 2 to 5 hour-long memorial services per day. Local residents are worried because of the expected increase in traffic on an already busy road, made busier by the closure of the A&E department at Wycombe Hospital. Aylesbury Vale District Council have commented that the crematorium is not located where it is most logically needed, to the north of Aylesbury, but raised no objection to the site otherwise.
