Crime Writer Dave Sivers comes to Wendover Community Library
Crime writer Dave Sivers visited Wendover Community Library in December as part of the Library’s “A Conversation with…” series of talks. Local freelance writer Sandra Smith had prepared her questions well to allow Dave to give the best look into his writing and the broadest overview of what it is to be a fiction writer in today’s market. Along the way, they discussed Dave’s two main protagonists – DI Archer and DS Baines – who are based in Aylesbury Vale and investigate crimes whilst battling their own personal demons. Dave covered topics as varied as computer software and allotments during the course of the interview and gave a fascinating insight into the world of the fiction writer.
If you’d like to hear Dave yourself, he will be at the upcoming Beaconlit Literary Festival (www.beaconlit.co.uk) on 8 July 2017 in Ivinghoe.
Dave’s three books featuring DI Archer and DS Baines are available from Amazon, or via Dave’s own website www.davesivers.co.uk.They’re also available to take out at Wendover Community Library – just ask if you can’t find them!
