Cygnets on the Arm

Wendover News has been contacted by several individuals including a member of a bird-based wildlife organisation, all stating that it is an old wives’ tale that swans can break the limbs of humans when defending their young. Wendover News has been asked to remind dog walkers in particular to take great care when walking along the tow path. “Swans do not like dogs or buggies and will hiss first and ask questions later. Just walk past briskly, don’t bother them and they’ll not bother you.”
