Dedicated to Supporting Carers
If you are looking after someone (a family member or friend) who can’t manage without you because they are ill, elderly/frail or have a disability, then you are a carer and Carers Bucks can help you.
There are over 52,000 unpaid adult carers living in Buckinghamshire, who play a vital role in providing care and support to family and friends, as well as making an enormous economic contribution to society – unpaid carers in Buckinghamshire are saving the UK economy £839 million every year.
Carers Bucks supports unpaid carers of all ages (adult & young carers) in Buckinghamshire, providing regular support groups, helping you know your rights and entitlements as a carer, emergency planning, guidance on health and social care services, events and activities, plus a number of other services to support the health and wellbeing of carers.
Did you know Carers Bucks runs a monthly support group in Wendover? The support group welcomes carers in all caring situations, and whether you are new to caring or have been caring for a long time.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month between 1-3pm at the Wendover Library, High Street, Wendover, Aylesbury, HP22 6DU.
