Earl Howe visits RAF Halton
The Right Honourable Earl Howe PC, Deputy Leader Of The House of Lords and Minister Of State For Defence, has visited RAF Halton where Halton personnel provided an opportunity for the Earl to gain an insight into the Royal Air Force and in particular, RAF Halton’s mission and output.
Earl Howe was met by Station Commander, Group Captain Katherine Wilson, and after signing the Visitor’s Book he received an in brief before being transported to Recruit Training Squadron where he was briefed on training methods and given an overview of the Squadron.
His next call was to Airmens’ Command Squadron where he watched a Training demonstration. The day finished with Earl Howe receiving an out brief by the Station Commander.
