Easing of Lockdown in and near Wendover

The government has announced an easing of lockdown restrictions in England from 4 July. This means that many venues in and near Wendover – including pubs, restaurants and barbers/hairdressers – are allowed to reopen from that day if they comply with the government’s requirements.

Some venues have elected to open at a later date, with customer and staff safety in mind. If you would like to visit somewhere which is allowed to open, please check its website or social media before going, in order to avoid disappointment.

The Wendover weekly Thursday market is running as scheduled. The next market is 9 July. The Saturday market is expected to resume 18 July.

Wendover Community Library is scheduled to reopen with limited hours from 7 July.

If you do go out, please respect social distancing requirements.
