EKFB and HS2 update, April 2022
In our last update we outlined our plans for the installation of the conveyor system across the A413. We are nearly at the point where the conveyor will be positioned across London Road.
In order to carry out the installation safely, there will be traffic management in place with some short duration road closures as we finish the access off the A413 and when we lift the conveyor into position.
On 5 April, there is a planned overnight road closure in place to allow us to complete this installation. We will then continue the work across the Chiltern Line and look to close Small Dean Lane to complete the installation phase at the end of April.
We have also officially launched our new Mobile Visitors Centre for EKFB, which provides an interactive space for you to come and speak with your local engagement managers about the works in Wendover. You can see plans, ask questions about careers or even ask about how we can support with local community projects. Our first visit to Wendover will be outside Budgens on Manor Waste on 29 March, from 10am – 3pm, and we hope to see you there.
If you have a question about HS2 or our works, then you can find out more on the in your area section on the HS2 website www.hs2.org.uk.
