Enterprising Students
Year 9 Business Studies students took part in The National Enterprise Challenge in March. The special day challenged students to work in teams to design and market an innovative mobile app for Ryman the Stationers.
The students were taught about the importance of branding, came up with their target customer and began generating ideas. Each team worked on its idea and developed a pitch to deliver to the five judges in the afternoon. The pitches were very impressive and the ideas were incredibly innovative, making it difficult to choose the winning team. After much deliberation, ‘Stationery Strike’ was victorious due to its confident pitch, creative marketing and overall excellent idea. ‘Stationery Strike’ will now go to the National Final in Telford on 4th July to pitch its ideas to former Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis in a bid to turn its pitch into reality.
