100% Exam Success for Bucks UTC students

Students at Bucks UTC have much to celebrate this week with a 100% pass rate for students who have taken the Extended Diploma in Computing, and Construction and the Built Environment BTEC courses.

Success rates for the UTC’s post-16 specialist subjects of Computing and Construction, remain outstanding with distinction*/distinction grades at 56.5%, 20% above the national average.

Tony Withell, Principal of Bucks UTC, said: “Our BTECs go from strength to strength, in all cases exceeding the known national data and in some aspects being over 30% above. We’re absolutely delighted for our students – their hard work has clearly paid off. All of our students are either taking further study at university or going into employment and have great futures ahead of them.”

Charlie Deeley, age 19, who lives in Tring, gained a Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction* in the BTEC Extended Diploma in Computing and commented: “Bucks UTC provided me with the resources and knowledge needed to achieve my results and I’m looking forward to a four-year, industry-led programme at Leeds University in Computer Science.”
