First Couples Hire Boat Launched in the Chilterns

Chiltern Canal Boat Holidays (CCBH), a family run boat hire company based in Hertfordshire, on the famous Grand Union Canal, have announced that ‘Mini Escape’, their first 2 berth narrowboat, is now open for bookings.

Custom designed in a country-style, for couples looking for a relaxing break, Mini Escape is a 27ft narrowboat with a cruiser stern which has been created by the company to provide a unique, luxury boating experience. That journey takes you on an adventure through the Chilterns Hills. Less than an hour from central London, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is an undiscovered little gem. Customers can cruise Mini Escape along the Grand Union through Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire and explore this scenic area of the English countryside. With some renowned nature spots such as Tring Reservoirs and Ivinghoe Beacon along the route, and several historic market towns and quaint countryside villages to explore with their boutique shops and historic landmarks, there really is something for everyone to love on their holiday through the Chilterns. Plus, there are plenty of lovely canalside pubs to enjoy along the way.
