The Five Bells celebrates its reopening with a Gin and Jazz experience
The Five Bells, part of the Vintage Inns collection, recently reopened its doors following a major refurbishment, bringing a beautiful new look to this Aylesbury local.
The pub with rooms, located on Main Street, oozes rural charm and rustic character with the picturesque surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for savouring its new menu, which it hopes will excite guests and encourage them to while away many hours in their cosy surroundings.
Visitors to The Five Bells can enjoy the pub throughout the year, whether they’re relaxing in front of their roaring fires in winter or making the most of the long summer nights in their new outdoor dining area. They can also sample the amazing selection of gins, ales and wines on offer behind the bar and try out some of the freshly prepared British dishes from the new menu, and The Five Bells hopes that the new look is a welcome change in Weston Turville.
Martin Yarwood, landlord of The Five Bells, said: “We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends and read the Sunday paper.
“The Five Bells is in a fantastic location in the Aylesbury countryside, and we have an amazing support network around us, so we hope that all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers love the transformation.
“All of our rooms have also had a full refurbishment, and we look forward to welcoming guests to the new look Innkeeper’s Lodge. A magnet for walkers in the Chilterns, and nestled within earshot of St Mary’s Church bells, we’re perfectly located for a comfortable night’s sleep after a day of sight-seeing.”
The Five Bells celebrated the reopening by revealing its brand-new Spring menu, starting on 20th March, which is certain to tickle the taste buds of guests, with new dishes including pancetta wrapped cod loin, served on crushed potatoes, with green vegetables and a white wine velouté, and a host of mouth-watering puddings including blackcurrant and Prosecco cheesecake.
To celebrate its new-look, The Five Bells is hosting a Gin and Jazz night where guests will be able to enjoy live music from a local jazz band, sample a selection of the great gins on offer for free and chat to Martin and the team. The event will be taking place on Friday 5th April 2019 at 7pm.
