Last Chance for ‘Early Bunny’ Florence Nightingale Hospice Midnight Walk Signup!

The Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) Midnight Walk team will be in Friars Square Shopping Centre this Saturday (30th January), 10am-4pm, – giving ladies thinking about taking on the six or 13-mile walking challenge this summer, a final opportunity to sign up for the £15 early bunny offer.

“Our ‘new ears’ offer will come to an end at Midnight on Sunday 31st January, so why not come down and find us in Friars Square on Saturday and sign up in person – either as an individual or team before it’s too late,” explained FNHC’s Sam Heggie. “This is the seventh year for Aylesbury’s Midnight Walk taking place on Saturday 9th July, so if you’ve never done it before, simply come down on the day and speak to the team, plus pick up top training tips so you can start training straight away!”

In celebration of seven years of walking through the streets of Aylesbury, the Charity is aiming to raise £70,000 at this year’s event, which is the equivalent of funding a year of in-patient nursing at Florence Nightingale Hospice. The event will see the return of the ‘Glo4Flo’ theme with an added carnival party twist to link in with the forthcoming Rio Olympics.

To register online visit www.gemstonewalk.co.uk. Entry will be £18pp from Monday 1st February. Registration includes training plans, limited edition t-shirt, refreshments on route, souvenir medal and breakfast on completion of the challenge. Both routes start and finish at Aylesbury College.
