Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity’s First Overseas Trek

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) has introduced its first overseas trek to Peru from Wednesday 2nd – Friday 11th November 2016 and two brave individuals have already registered.

June Francis and Vicky Benning have signed up for FNHC’s first ever Trek Peru – a 10 day overseas trek with chosen company, Skyline.

“I will never be able to do enough to show my gratitude to the Hospice and the staff at Florence – the care they gave my Mum in her last few weeks was incredible so this is my very little way of saying thank you while completing a life-long dream I had discussed with my Mum so many times.” Commented Vicky Benning.

Trekkers will immerse themselves in ancient Peruvian culture trekking and exploring the remote Lares region of the Peruvian Andes, visiting traditional Andean villages and remote mountain trails before visiting the great wonder that is Machu Picchu, one of the world’s most important archaeological finds.

“This trip is suitable for people of all ages. The one thing everyone has in common is a sense of adventure and the desire to do something challenging for a great cause!” commented FNHC’s Online Donor Care Fundraiser, Teresa King.

“Places are extremely limited and get snapped up quickly so to avoid disappointment sign up today and don’t miss out!”

There are two sign up options for this trek; option 1 is to raise sponsorship (£3,860) and paying a registration fee of £349. Option 2 is to self-fund the trip at a cost of £1,930 with a registration fee of £349. The trip cost includes flights, accommodation and meals.
