Food delivery for vulnerable people is the focus of today’s council video update
Food delivery for vulnerable people during the coronavirus emergency is the topic of today’s video update (Vlog) from Buckinghamshire Council Leader Martin Tett.
Martin is joined by Debs Stevens, who is Buckinghamshire Council’s Food Cell Lead. In the video, Debs details her team’s fantastic work delivering food parcels to the vulnerable in Bucks.
Commenting on their food delivery service, Debs said: “Our focus is on vulnerable residents who don’t have a support network around them and are shielding from Covid-19, so are unable to leave their houses to get food.”

The daily Vlog, supporting the message #ProudofBucks, also provides an opportunity for people to ask questions via social media on how the council is fighting Coronavirus locally, what residents can do to stay safe, and how they can get involved in helping others – using the #askBucksCouncil Twitter hashtag.
Vlogs will also be shared daily on the council’s social media channels.
