Free digital toolkit to boost Buckinghamshire’s businesses

As thousands of Buckinghamshire businesses welcome customers back, Buckinghamshire Council is encouraging them to join in with its #WelcomeBackBucks campaign on social media, and make use of its free digital toolkit to help them boost their business.

Martin Tett, Leader of Buckinghamshire Council said: “It’s been fantastic to see so many businesses back in action after 12 April, and with the next stage on May 17 allowing indoor hospitality, indoor leisure, group fitness classes and overnight stays, we’re here to support this exciting and critical time for businesses.

“From the colourful bunting and signs in towns, to the upbeat videos and posts on social media – Buckinghamshire Council has been shouting the good news of re-opening from the rooftops. And there is a lot that businesses can do to get involved and benefit from the interest. I encourage all Buckinghamshire businesses to use the #WelcomeBackBucks hashtag on their social media, and use the the free digital toolkit to help boost their business.”

Hook into the buzz on social media

If your business is on social media, make sure you benefit from the attention Buckinghamshire Council’s campaign has been creating by using #WelcomeBackBucks on your posts to hook into the buzz. Since 1 April, the #WelcomeBackBucks campaign has been making plenty of noise on their social media channels and they want your business to benefit from this!

By joining in with the #WelcomeBackBucks hashtag, you open your business to a wider audience, and become a part of the story too – so far, the stats speak for themselves! Over 1 million people have seen #WelcomeBackBucks posts on Twitter, and 139,000 on Facebook.

It’s a great idea to add other hashtags too, like #LoveLocal, or your town name to promote your local area.

Talking about the steps you’ve taken to keep your venue safe will help reassure customers and encourage them to visit.
