FSB Volunteers wanted for new HMRC service
The Thames Valley Region of the FSB have been asked to assist HMRC in helpingshape the design of a new online service for small and medium businesses
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is looking for volunteers to take part in a live trial of an early version of a new online service for small and medium businesses. The new service will bring together in one place everything businesses need to manage their tax affairs, for example: file tax returns, check and make payments, view important dates for future action.
If you’d like to take part in this trial, which will run during February and March 2014, please register your interest with HMRC by 17th January 2014 using this link. You will be asked to provide some basic information about the nature of your business to help ensure that a diverse range of small and medium businesses is selected to participate in the trial.
Basic internet skills are all that’s needed – no special equipment or expert knowledge is required.
Volunteers will be asked to provide some feedback on their experience of using the new service using online surveys, which should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. This will be used to help shape the development and design of the service.
